Opti-MEM Medium is a modified minimum essential medium (MEM) that can reduce the content of fetal bovine serum additives by at least 50% without changes in cell growth rate or morphology. It is also recommended to use Opti-MEM Medium with cationic liposome transfection reagents (such as Lipofectamine reagent).
Opti-MEM Medium can be used for a variety of suspended and adherent mammalian cells, including Sp2, AE-1, CHO, BHK-21, HEK and primary fibroblasts. For a wide range of cell culture applications, we provide a variety of modified Opti-MEM Medium .
